Data controller
The controller of personal data collected through ddwit.com is Dariusz Wit. For any matters related to personal data protection, you can contact us at dariusz.wit@ddwit.com.
What data we collect and why
- Contact form — name, email address, and message content, provided voluntarily in order to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR (consent and the controller’s legitimate interest in handling correspondence).
- Newsletter (Mailchimp) — the email address provided when subscribing, processed to send updates about our ministry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Data is processed by Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group / Intuit Inc.).
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — anonymized data about site usage (pages visited, time on site, device, approximate location), processed only after consent is given in the cookie banner. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Data is processed by Google Ireland Limited.
Cookies
The site uses cookies in three categories:
- Necessary — required for the site to function (e.g. remembering your cookie consent choice, security settings). These do not require consent.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 cookies (e.g.
_ga,_ga_*), loaded only after consent. - Marketing — cookies related to the Mailchimp widget (newsletter signup, popup forms), loaded only after consent.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the „Cookie settings” button in the bottom-left corner of the page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, which may limit the site’s functionality.
External fonts
The site uses Google Fonts (Cormorant Garamond, Manrope), loaded from Google’s servers. This involves sending your browser’s IP address to Google in order to deliver the font files.
Recipients of data
Data may be shared with service providers necessary to operate the site: our hosting provider (dhosting.pl), our email delivery provider (SMTP server), Mailchimp (newsletter), and Google (analytics, fonts) — only to the extent described above.
Retention period
Contact form data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and any follow-up correspondence. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Cookie consent choices are remembered for 180 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, port it, object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (UODO) or your local supervisory authority.
Voluntariness of providing data
Providing your data is voluntary, but necessary to use the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter.
